Artwork Guidelines

Artwork we receive "MUST" be in Illustrator!
Up to Illustrator CS2 is fine.

We must have a color copy to accompany artwork.

(No Quark)
We can only receive artwork as an AI, EPS or PDF file.  If you design artwork in any other form such as JPEG or BMP's, please make sure you have it translated to Illustrator CS2 or lower.  We can not convert files.  JPEG and BMP's are for viewing purposes only.

No red, green or blue format.
We need to receive artwork in CMYK.  The CMYK file can be as a spot color or process color.  If we receive files as an RGB, when we change over to CMYK, the colors have a tendency to change.

We can accept artwork by Zip, CD or E-mail.
Send all art files and proof correspondence to:  artdept@magnolialabel.com.

If using unusual fonts, or a placed image, please include them with your artwork, unless designed on a PC.  Then we must have the fonts used saved to outline.  We use Macintosh computers and most PC fonts do not translate the same as MAC's.

If you send in artwork that does not have your fonts included and you select your type as (Create Outlines) we will not be able to go in and make changes.  We will have to create that type using an in-house font as close as possible.

Any changes we have to make to artwork sent to us that is not in the format listed above, will cause an additional art charge.
